Big Week!

Excited about this upcoming week! Tomorrow I will be performing with Phil Snyder. We will be playing Cello and Guitar duets at Epiphany Lutheran Church in Suwanee, GA at 5:30pm. Later this week I will be performing with the Georgia Guitar Quartet and Anderson Symphony, performing Rodrigo's "Concierto Andaluz" in Anderson, SC. The concert is this Friday, 7:30 at First Baptist Church of Anderson. Early next week I will be playing a solo concert at Young Harris College, Monday, Feb. 6, at 7 p.m. in the Susan B. Harris Chapel on the YHC campus. Then for the rest of the month, I will be playing guitar in the musical "Godspell" with the Gainsville Theater Alliance. Busy times ahead, but good times! First Album Released!

After a long wait I am happy to release my first solo album! The album is called "Sketches". It is available for listening and download on Soundcloud and on my website. I am charging nothing, but I have a donation button on my website if you are so inclined. Your donations are greatly appreciated!

Nancy Travis Childcare Project Benefit Concert

This Saturday my wife, Natalie Smith, and I will be performing as the Musicsmiths for the Nancy Travis Childcare Project Benefit Concert at Hendershot's Coffee here in Athens, GA. If you are in the area, come on out to support a great cause! The show starts at 7:30 with a suggested donation of $10. All proceeds go to the Nancy Travis Childcare Project.

Tuesday's Music Live

In Memoriam

I'm finally getting around to putting up something in memory of my teacher, John Sutherland, who passed away 2 years ago on October 4th. Thank you for everything John. I'm still learning from you everyday.

 

 

Performance at the Morris Museum of Art

I am excited and honored to be playing in my hometown of Augusta, GA at the Morris Museum of Art next week. The show will be on October 16th, 2016 at 2:00pm. If you are in Augusta, come on out! I would love to see some old friends and catch up. Can't wait to play for my Augusta peeps!

108 Sun Salutations

Hello everyone! I am so excited to be a part of the 108 Sun Salutations Festival again at the Botanical Gardens here in Athens, GA! It is a great event whether you are doing yoga, meditating, chanting, or just coming out to watch the Salutations in action. We will be starting at 5:30 on October 2nd. This was taken by my friend Alex Tank. Our friends Alex Tank and Emily Erwin just left Athens, GA to pursue some good opportunities up in Michigan! Alex and Emily have been longtime friends and supporters of my family and myself. I wish the best for them in Michigan and I look forward to visiting them in Michigan and having them come back to Athens every now and then. Godspeed and many safe returns!

Performance and New Photos

Hello everyone! If you are in Athens, GA and are getting thirsty on a hot summer day, come by Terrapin Brewery. I will be playing during one of the brewery tours from 1:30 - 3:30. Good times!

It is so great to know such wonderful and talented people here in Athens! I am always amazed at the awesome art and music this wonderful city produces. I am so happy to be a drop in the ocean here!

New Happenings

What a week! I had a great time performing at Hendershot's Coffee. I also began working on some new recordings with Marc Gilley. I'm excited with how everything is sounding! I also got to work with two amazing photographers, Jamie Derevere and Rachel Osborne. New shows, audio, photos and videos coming soon! Stay tuned!
